GIAVA (Rosso Verona IGT)

Vineyard location: Pastrengo (eastern shore of Lake Garda)
Soil: stony soil of morainic origin in a hilly area
Grape varieties: 60% Corvina, 15% Molinara, 15% Rondinella, 10% Merlot
Colour: intense ruby red
Bouquet: fruity with notes of sour cherry, dark fruit jam and vanilla
Palate: intense with elegant and soft tannins
Grape harvest: hand picked from a selection of the best grapes
Vinification: short raisining of the grapes. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks with a skin maceration of about 10 days
Ageing: in stainless steel tanks
Serving suggestions: to be enjoyed within 3 years from bottling. Best served at a temperature of 17-19°C. Versatile wine, excellent with red meat, game and aged cheese
